Thomas Pink is brewing up a quiet revolution at London Collections: Men (LCM). The premium menswear brand is a veritable virgin on the LCM scene, but with its 2014 and 2015 LCM presentations it has cleverly melded into a new form the idea of a traditional fashion show, the fashion presentation, a style-crowd-get-together and an after party (lets call it a gently buzzing party throughout).
The leaders of the brand mix with the models, who mix with the fashion editors, star clients, celebrities, buyers, bloggers and other guests. It is fused and blended. Not them and us, but all of us. The concept of these presentations have been interesting, participatory and the vibe is relaxed with an air of less is more. Most of all, the venues are well lit and you can get very close to the clothes and accessories, as they sit snugly on the models, who are encouraged to move around and interact.
