Who would have thought, that Christopher Bailey would so clearly define what most men will be wearing, in some form or another, this Autumn / Winter 2015 (#AW15). In his Burberry Prorsum Collection we see shearling coats, strong greens, petrels and olive-coloured pieces, powerful patterns and a slightly looser but still-tailored fit. The 1970's influence is clear from the elaborate prints and decorative flourishes. It is tailoring blended with muted flower-power via the neighbourhood vintage shop. While few men will be wearing the Man-klet or the Man-cho (see image 2 above), there is enough that remains, that is practical, wearable and right on the mark. Its luxury, so expect exalted price points.
